What is the price of a Portrait Session?

Accepted Answer

The Portrait session costs €150 (plus €30 for each additional adult). This amount is paid at the time of booking, serving as a deposit to secure the date.
 
This value will be credited in full in the final value of the session.
 
This amount is non-refundable, but if the customer has to cancel the session for reasons of force majeure, we can reschedule for another date.

What do Portrait Sessions include?

These sessions are true experiences that are worth having at least once in your life.
 
We'll pamper her, make her feel like a star, and photograph her like a real magazine cover... in other words, make her forget about the world for a while.
 
Portrait sessions, whether individual or family, always include:
 
- a conversation prior to the session to understand the purpose of the session and clarify any doubts; 
- makeup by a professional;
- photo session lasting up to 3 hours;
- 2 to 4 changes of clothing;
- availability of the studio wardrobe;
- professionally edited photographs;
 
From the images taken during the session, I will choose the best ones, and only those will be edited by me, carefully, working the light, tones and other components of the image so that the final result is the set of best portraits you've ever dreamed of.
 
It will be these images (between 20 and 25) that I will present to you two weeks later so that you can choose your favorites.

Where do the Photo Sessions take place?

The sessions take place at the studio "Sónia Godinho Fotografia", located in Odivelas, very close to the Monastery of São Dinis.
 
The address is Rua Combatentes do Ultramar, nº 7, Odivelas, but just Google the name of the studio and it will bring it to the door! There is easy parking close by.

It is a cozy studio, with a wardrobe that you can use in your session, and with all the photographic equipment necessary to make beautiful portraits.
 
Oh... and we have coffee, tea and other snacks to entertain the stomach ;-)

Question 4

I don't know what to wear for a photo shoot. Can help with this question?

Of course!
 
During the conversation prior to the photo session, we will have plenty of time to talk about how you want to be photographed, what are your color and style preferences. 
During this time you can take the opportunity to get to know the pieces we have in our wardrobe, which will be at your disposal on the day of the session, to use in conjunction with your own clothing.
 
If it's a family session, we'll talk about the best way to coordinate the style and colors of everyone's clothing, so that the result is harmonious and meets your expectations.

How much does a Maternity Session cost?

The price for these sessions depends on the number of images desired, starting at €290 for a session that includes 10 images edited in digital format, with the offer of 2 images printed in size 20x30 on fine art paper. Additional images can be purchased at à la carte prices.
 
All Maternity sessions include a 10% discount voucher if you book your baby's newborn session.

Question 6

What is the price of a Newborn Session?

Accepted Answer

Newborn sessions start at €250 (depending on the chosen package). Half of this amount is paid at the time of booking, serving as a deposit to secure the date.
 
Since the scheduling of this type of session is usually carried out before the birth of your baby, there will be all the flexibility to adjust this date if the birth does not take place on the day expected for delivery.
 
This amount is non-refundable, but if the client has to cancel the session for reasons of force majeure, we will reschedule it for another date.

What do Newborn Sessions include?

These sessions serve to forever record the wonderful first days of your baby's life and his arrival in the family.
 
The sessions are focused on the baby but we know that when this baby grows up he will want to see himself in portraits with his parents and know that he was very spoiled by the whole family, so we will always take pictures with his parents and siblings (if the any).
 
When scheduling the session, the following services will be included:
 
- a conversation prior to the session to understand the purpose of the session and clarify any doubts (by phone/skype/zoom); 
- photo session lasting up to 2 hours (everything will be done depending on your baby's peace of mind);
- professionally edited photographs;
- Album 20x30
 
- makeup by a professional for the mother (can be added, on request, at a cost of €40)

When should I schedule the Newborn Session?

Sessions should be carried out between 6 and 15 days of your baby's life. It is at this time that their periods of sleep are longer and deeper, making them feel less disturbed or restless during the photo session. 
 
Moreover, these first days are the ones we want to keep in our memory forever, they are the days of discovery for parents who know that they will never fit in their hands like that again. 
 
Since sessions have a very narrow time window, it is important that they be booked well in advance to ensure studio availability. Ideally, it should be scheduled between 7 and 8 months of pregnancy.

Wonderful Frame Boxes that house the collection of 20 images and that are themselves filing boxes and frame when placed vertically. They are manufactured in Italy with the best materials and will keep your portraits for many, many years.
 
For the decoration of your walls we offer several alternatives, from the traditional and classic framed portrait, to the elegant and modern aluminum panel, or our exclusive Amalfi Panel, a panel manufactured in Italy, with Amalfi paper produced according to techniques that dating back to the renaissance and which translates into a timeless piece of art that fits any decor.
